 Chocolate Chip Cookies

                                            Prep time:40 min

Hi, today I will share with you the best chocolate chip cookie recipe, they're soft, chewy, and absolutely irresistible.

without further ado let's do it.

ingredient:

  1. 100g Butter (at room temperature)
  1. ½ cup (100 grams) Brown Sugar
  1. 1/3 cup (69 grams) of White Sugar
  1. One big Egg (at room temperature)
  1. A teaspoon of Vanilla
  1. A cup and a quarter (185 grams) of Flour
  1. 1 tablespoon (7.5 grams) of Cornstarch
  1. Half a tablespoon (2.5 grams) of Baking powder
  1. Half a teaspoon of Salt
  1. 1 1/2 cups (262 grams) of Chocolate Chips
  1. Optional: a cup of toasted Nuts

Let's do it :

1. In a small bowl, mix Flour, Cornstarch, Baking soda, and Salt; set aside

2. In a large bowl, beat the Butter and sugars (Brown and White Sugar) with an electric mixer on medium speed, or mix with a spoon for about 1 minute or until fluffy, scraping the side of the bowl occasionally, until it gets nicefluffy, and creamy.

3. Add the Egg and Vanilla, and beat on low speed until incorporated.

4.  Add the Flour mixture, Stir it  just until blended (if you over-blend it the dough will be stiff and dry)

5. Add Chocolate Chips: Duh! And stir it (add the Nuts ... optional)

6. Onto a prepared baking sheet. drop the dough by rolling them up into balls or by using rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart (the size of the cookie is up to you)

7.  Heat oven to 375°F (160c), and put the Chocolate Chip Cookies in the fridge for 10 min while the oven is being heated.

8.  Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until light brown (the centers will be soft). Cool 2 minutes and ENGOY!!!

Some tips:

-   For best results, make sure that the butter is at room temperature.

-   Be sure to give the dropped dough plenty of air space, so the cookies won’t bump into each other as they spread.

-   Can I freeze chocolate chip cookie dough?      Yes! Roll them up into balls, and then keep them in a bag in the freezer until ready to bake.

-   The cookies can be kept in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-4 days, or in the fridge for a week.
